It is recommended for ages 9 and up. I certainly enjoyed it. We have it in our library. Come check it out!
I was introduced to 2 new authors, Kim Vogel Sawyer and Lynn Austine. They each write fiction. One of the books I read took place in the 1940s. I had to listen to Glenn Miller's "In the Mood" after that! : )

ReplyDeleteI'm impressed! 5 BOOKS! I started a couple but found that I was very busy with friends and family. Sometimes it's very hard to find time to read but-I do love to read.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Carr, what was your favorite book that you read this summer? Sometimes it's easier for me to read books that others recommend to me that they really liked and couldn't put down.
During the school year it seems to be easier to find the time to read. Perhaps I could read one that you really liked.

I read the Calder Came which was a really good book. I can't remember any of the other ones right now but over the summer I read over 20 books!
